Personally I have no problem with the membership fees, I think it is well worth it considering the amount of products that they design, and support available. It has more than paid for itself many times over since I joined. I do work for other people, so I can't be bothered with bootleg copies, un-updated versions, or corrupt or partial files. It's not worth it to save a few bucks...it will loose you money in the long run.
