I have used multisite and was wondering if anyone had any experiences as I don't know what is possible. I have wordpress multisite setup. I need to create additional sites, all with the same theme & pages but just a different user assigned to each. I would like to automate the account creating process if possible. Not sure how to this and have been looking through the plugins at wpmudev. I was thinking I could have the users that need a site go to a signup/register page and enter their info and have the site & pages created automatically and email them the info. There is no payment invoived, the will all be employees of the same company but there may be a few hunrdred. One included page is an "about us" where they currently have to update that page them selves by logging into their new account and editing the about us page. Would it be possible to have that info automatically inserted into the page if the data was collected on the sign up form? Buddypress will let you create a custom sign up page and display that info on the profile page so hopefully something similar is possible. Also, they have a contact/opi-in widget where their clients can enter their info to be added to a newsletter or request more info. When I create each site I have to go into that site and enter the persons email address to receive the results and setup the plugin (mailpoet) that we are using for the contact forms. Any way to automate that process so the plugin is already setup with the new users email address as the recipient. I will probably want to make other modifications later. This company had a custom coded site built with some of these features but now they want to switch to wordpress. thanks!
