where is the revenue from?

 

I have a WordPress themes club with over 400 paying members and about 1300 members all together. The point was that this blog has not been monetized at all. All options are open, which is a good thing.

Terrific site...would you say the revenue is $2000 per year ? Have you tried/considered Adsense on the site ?

 

$2000/year? ... um not really because the 2000 was earned within a month or so at the opening of the themes club. and the rest of the site is not monetized. there's no banners and no text links.

i know it's tricky to deal with potential, but let's take the pr7 for example. i could sell 10 text links at 150-200 each and make an extra 1500-2000 per month. that would bring yearly revenue to at least 24000.

i focused on growing the themes club and didn't want to run ads on my blog for several months. that's why there are so many options to monetize currently. as for Adsense, there are much better ways to monetize for the wordpress themes niche.
