WP Upgradation Error in 2.7.1 version

    Did any body move to the new wordpress 2.7.1 version.

    I'm facing problem in upgradaing from wp 2.6.5 to 2.7.1

    These are the 2 errors I'm getting:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_remote_request() in /home/onlinedo/public_html/DOMAINNAME/wp-includes/update.php on line 58


    Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_remote_post() in /home/onlinedo/public_html/DOMAINNAME/wp-includes/cron.php on line 204


    How should I fix them? Any inputs please.

    it went fine for me but i lost the custom mods i made to the default theme because it overwrote it when it upgraded, have you tried disabling the plugins and then upgrading

    It is a freshly installed one. The domain itself is a newly registered. I didn't upload any plugins.

    You might try to use default theme during upgrade.

    If it's a fresh install on a recently purchased domain etc, then you should not be bothered with the upgrade, reuploading the latest version over the existing one, and then reinstalling would take moments. And you won't need to bother about the upgrade steps.

    I upgrade 2.7 to 2.7.1 easily.

    2.7 provide automatic upgrade option... It automaticaly upgrades my blog.

    Should I remove the installation totally and then proceed ?
