Today I installed and activated W3 Total Cache plugin and the moment I pressed the activate link, my dashboard went dead white. I lost control over my dashboard. It was only when I accessed my server through FTP and deleted the plugin, I got my dashboard back. The uninstall was also mind boggling. After searching every single file that this plugin had installed on different locations and deleting them, I recovered my dashboard. I don't know what caused this terrible problem but for a moment I had lost my senses..... I am using WP 3.0.4 and never had this sort of problem with any other plugin.
I had a similar issue with the Total Cache plugin. I know a lot of people have reported good things with it but for my site, I experienced all sorts of weird effects - this plugin is incompatible with the S2Member plugin that I use for my membership site. It also kept asking me to enter the info for the CDN option despite me turning that option off. Speed was only marginally better. I guess this plugin didn't get along with my theme or some other plugin that I'm using. I tried several other cache plugins besides Total Cache... the WP Super Cache plugin is the one I ended up with. It speeds up my site and no conflicts with the other plugins.
Hello, I was also facing the same problem some times back. I will seriously recommend you to delete the plugin from your nice sever, where you have hosted your blog. and use other CDN plugin like W3C plugin to speed up your blog. and if you are still getting same error, just let me know.
Finally I installed WP Hyper cache plugin. Unlike W3 Total cache, its installation and activation was quite smooth and fast. But I don't see any improvement in my site performance. I tested my pages with Firefox YSlow addon before and after the hyper cache plugin installation. But it is not showing any sign of improvement. The ranking is same before and after the installation.
I had this problem as well , but then switched to the developers version and it works just fine with the latest version of Wordpress
I had much better luck with using, wp-file-cache and autoptimize plugins. Page loading speeds is better than W3 Total Cache.
