My blog penalized by google and i lost all my traffic from SE. I think wp super cache plugin is reason for google penalty. When pugin active, it create duplicate pages or content.....Now I had two URL structures working on the blog. They were: articles2u.com/ and articles2u/index.php The same problem was happening on all posts and pages - articles2u.com/post-title/ and articles2u/post-title/index.php Now i deactivate wp super cache. Please help me to solve the problem...Also help me to remove penalty....
I was using the super cache also. I saw the same double results so I deactivated it as soon as I saw it.
it is more likely that it confused google rather than penalized by google. Give it a week and it should be able to sort it's self out now you have removed "super cache" also look in google webmaster tools to see any errors or warnings.
Next time you can install something on your own site, if you don't already have it. Here's the info... Plugin Name: "Delete Duplicate Posts" what it does? Check For Duplicate Posts Clicking the button finds duplicated posts. You can then delete them individually, or all with one click! After searching, it lists all posts, and beneath the list, you can click the button to delete them all. When it's done, you'll see a message on the screen like this "Congratulations" then you can go ahead and close the program.
