Static vs dynamic caching is not going to cause you any sort of traffic loss. Using WP-Cache or WP-SuperCache should make no difference, unless your website is somehow producing errors that you are not seeing.

You can check the WP dashboard, under settings for your caching plugin to specify when the plugin should automatically remove the cache.

SEO: Improved only a little by page load time; but hurt deeply by duplicate content, especially internal duplicate content.
SEO is also hurt deeply when internal links point to different pages than the pages you serve.

From my limited knowledge, I understand that WP-super cache creates .html versions of your pages and serves them to your visitors. This may mean that your creating duplicate content (whatever your permalink structure is + the .html version) and may mean your internal links aren't pointing to the pages your serving (internal links would probably point to the permalink style you set, while the pages would serve .html versions of that content).

Note: I haven't tested or confirmed the hypothesis above. It's a feasible hypothesis, however, which contradicts the argument that this plugin helps you to get visitors. I believe that this plugin may help you to satisfy/retain visitors (CRO), but does very very very little to help you get new visitors (the SEO).
