WP Question...etc...

I had a quick question...

When I used my free wp account on the "dashboard" I would have options such as "Blog Stats Feed Stats Blog Surfer My Comments Tag Surfer"

Now that I have it set up with my own host, these are not showing up? The same thing holds true for the sidebar widgets under "presentation"?

Does anybody have an idea on what this is? Do I have something set wrong?

Quick help would be great!

I know what you mean. I wish we had those features but as far as I know, you only get them on your wordpress.com blogs (as opposed to wordpress.org software.)

 

Yes I installed the widget plugin but am not getting the option for it under the presentation menu?

any ideas at all?

Did you activate the plugin?

I haven't messed with any widgets so I don't know much about them.

 

I did! Now they are showing up for some themes I downloaded and not the standard wp ones? I dont no...

 

I don't think all themes support the use of widgets.
