WP - Posts vs. pages - implications for navigation and SEO

    Hi-

I've got a blog that has a nice personal story line going that attracts regular readers, but there is only so much I can post in terms of relevancy. However, there is a lot of other content I can do that will pull in search traffic that will be interested in AdSense ads. That content would likely turn off the regular readers though, so I'm thinking about putting it up as pages rather than posts.

Is there any downside to this? I was thinking I would include a good HTML link navigation structure in the sidebar, so the search engines can see these "pages." Is there something I'm overlooking here?
