WP Posts Scheduled In The Future + Brief Downtime = What Happens Next?

    A WP Post Is Scheduled To "Go Live" In The Future (at a set time and date)
    Then the server has brief downtime (at just the 'wrong time')

    What Happens Next?
    Does Wordpress 'notice' and switch to published, or does it get 'forgotten?' (not published)

    Anyone know?

    Well this is something I had never thought on... I am guessing it will publish once the site is live....

    I would expect they thought of it, but it's not something that can easily be tested (on shared hosting)
