    Hey, I have never installed any sort of plugin or modification before. However today I think I sucessfully installed RSS Footer. I need some help on this please guys and gals.

    I have downloaded the following;

    Top Commentators Widget,
    Subscribe Remind,
    RSS Footer,
    Google XML Sitemaps,
    Dofollow,
    All in One SEO Pack,

    I extracted all and then uploaded the .php file to plugins folder. I have only however clicked activate on RSS Footer. Thats all I have to do right?

    I added ony the .php file for all except two, the following two had loads of files so added the whole folder;

    All in One SEO Pack,
    Google XML Sitemaps,

    I was just wondering if I have added them all correct, also now do I just activate them in the wordpress admin panel?

    Please help me. :)

    Thanks,
    BlueEew.

    If they are appearing in the admin panel, then chances are you uploaded them correctly. Depending on which RSS footer plugin you're using, it may require you to add a line of code on some other page in your Wordpress installation. Just read the installation instructions that came with the plugin and it will let you know.

    Theres got to be a little more to it than just activating it- otherwise how would you setup what your footer message would be?

    I activated the RSS Footer, and when I went to edit the footer. It already had my blogs URL. The link was already done.
