Is there anywhere I can find a wp plugin that automatically backs up mysql database on a preset schedule?
You can try this one http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-db-backup/ You can make auto backs in an other folder of your server. You can do this automaticly every hour, every day... Or you can have them send per email
I just read about that plugin on Jerimia's huge thread (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=947875 .) Kind of interested in trying it out as my old backup plugin does not seem to have nearly as many features. Also who can complain about being e-mail'd the backup. Hurray for laziness!
You can try this database manager: http://lesterchan.net/portfolio/programming/php/#wp-dbmanager It has a lot of nice features, works GREAT and allows automatic backups to an email address. Hope this helps!
