    Hello,

I installed wordpress on a website and I have a problem which seems to be permanent no matter what I'm uploading.
Everything I upload to cPanel has "raw" permissions like 700, 600. I tried to manually changed them, but there are too many files and folders.
Does anyone know why is this happening. On other sites, when I was uploading a theme or anyhting else, the permissions were always right.

    Thanks

Do you have SSH access to this webspace? FTP?

How specifically did you install the software? Please walk us though with specifics how you installed it.

I don't use FTP. When I install wp I download it from their website, unpack it, then rezipp only the folder contents. After that I enter the database name and password in wp-config.php then run the install.
But in this case, the wp I uploaded was already with "raw" permissions and I changed them all manually (I know it sounds silly, but didn't know what else to do, it took me more than an hour).
However, I succeeded with the installation. But I thought that after that things will be normal, but everything I upload plugins, themes have permissions 700, 600...
