I installed wp-o-matic on my blog and went to set up my first campaign.

I got the following error message when attempting to add a new category in the campaign set up:

Call to undefined method SimplePie::set_item_limit() in /home/content/b/a/z/baza1955/html/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/wpomatic.php on line 805

    Can anyone help please?

    Thank you,

    Barry

Try lowering the value of "Max items to create on each fetch" under any campaigns you have setup.

I'm not able to set up any campaigns. I get this error in the process of setting up my first campaign, when I try to add a category for my rss feed posts.

I believe I received this error as well, as I recall I lowered the value of "Max items to create on each fetch" and the error went away. It may be 0 by default which is no limit try setting it at 5 or 10 or smaller to see if you can then create a campaign.

    cfortner,

Thanks for your replies. No luck I set the "Max items to create on each fetch" to '3', and I'm still getting the same response. Any other suggestions? I'm willing to try 'em all :p

Do you have the Simple Pie WP plugin activated? If that's the case, then you should deactivate it because you would be using an older version of simplepie.

I've got my plugin working now. Apparently I had several inactive plugins that I had installed previously, that were creating an issue.
Several were for rss posting. I deleted a bunch of them and I'm up and running now. Thank you very much for your help.

    Hi,

I seem to have successfully installed this plugin. Earlier, I got the error message about the folder 'cache' not being in place, I went ahead & created one, but for some reason, I cannot open or delete that folder now, so I have created another one called cache1, made that change in the Wordpress Wpomatic admin panel, & have set up my first campaign. After almost 12 hours, there is not a single post fetched. The message on my dashboard says:

    'Campaign processed. 0 posts fetched'

Can you help me figure out what's going on?

    Thanks.
