Using WP can you create a menu that has drop downs, or side views that show subcategories and internal pages. For example Web Development -----Content Management -----------WP -----------Drupal -----------Joomla If i click on Joomla I want it to take me to the actual page about Joomla and not just to a page listing the categories. I hope that is easy to understand. At present my site has a drop down but if i click on the item below it takes me to a list of pages in the archive. This does not look great. I can't mention my site on here, sorry. I hope you can help.
This site has a menu that works well. http://www.likno.com/index.html Can WP make a navigation menu like that?
Yes you are able to create horizontal/vertical css menus which include categories and other pages etc, in Wordpress.
Does it need to be built into the design of the template or will a plugin fix this. My site has drop downs but they are not working properly.
The easiest way is to find it build into the menu but there are some plugins that will build that type of menu for you... do a search on WP for menus. If you like the theme you are using you can always dig into the WP code your self or outsource it.
