I'm still on a steep learning curve here with Wordpress, so bear with me! I had a redesign of this police news website recently and cleared out loads of old posts. There were lots of duplicates and it was a right old mess. I also subsequently changed the permalink structure of the site too. I now have quite a lot of pages such as this which are still indexed in search engines. These pages return a 200 server header code, so will they remain indexed? How can I redirect them en masse?
what version of wp do you use there? on 2.3 above, you should have automatically all fixed with your permalinks. don't worry about some pages still indexed on google, it will be gone soon. imw
Thanks for that. I have WP 2.3.1 installed, although I just recently upgraded to this version (from 1.??) I did think (hope?) that these pages would disappear over time, but what concerns me is that the pages don't return a server header error.
