Hello all, In wordpress is it possible to remove the "uncategorized" category from url?.. but let other categories to display in url posts. ie: wwwsite.com/uncategorized/post/ into-> wwwsite/post.html I have been looking for weeks for a htacccess solution, as I want to switch over a site to WP.. but do not want to create hundreds of 301 redirects. please, and thankyou!
No, that is not possible cause their is a pattern of creating permalinks /%categoryname%/%postname%.html (in your case) You can create permalinks like /%postname%.html but then other categories as well will not be included in URLs.
