    Looking for a WP expert to help relocate my blog.

    I currently have a site that's HTML in the root directory and a WP blog in a \BLOG subdirectory.

    eg.
    www.mysite.com <- html stuff here
    www.mysite.com/blog <- wp blog stuff here

    I'd like to make my blog my home page (ie. move my blog to the root directory) and have all the permalinks updated so they continue to work.

    eg.
    www.mysite.com <- wp blog stuff here

    Not sure if this can be done too, but if an external site links to www.mysite.com/blog/post123...can an inbound request be automatically redirected to www.mysite.com/post123 after the blog relocate?
