I am using word press and am looking for the best eCommerce platform that has the basic needs met:

    1.allows mass uploading of products
    2.a decent shipping function
    3.seo friendly
4.easy to use for admin and shoppers

Does anyone have any suggestions, I am trying woo commerce , but it lacks #1 & #2 on my list. I have read a few online reviews but they all seem to list strong points for each plugin.

thanks in advance for the input.

I've heard some good reviews on eShop and WP e-commerce, and both are free plugins. For paid plugins, you can check out Shopp and PHPurchase.

wp ecommerce could meet your needs but I'm not sure if it supports mass upload with spreadsheet. Anyway you can always look for freelancer to upload products info for you.

E commerce is where websites have products for sale and use a shopping cart system to allow the sale of products (virtual or actual) on the web. Let me know if you have any other questions on this.

I've been using Shopperpress for a few years now, over a few versions. Unfortunately they are very slow to give 'upgrade' ability to their older versions. So basically you have to start over every version, until the most recent one about a month ago. I think they have that under control now.

My version that I'm stuck with using has errors every now and again, but has been working quite well. Although I might start looking to something a little more professional, as this seems duct taped most of the time. My own personal opinion, not slighting the software, it's priced right.
