WP displaying weird Characters

    When someone type , ; ' ... or something similar comments are not displaying properly.

    Just take a look at sidebar under "Comments". I am using "Recent Comments" plugin.

    I think this has to do with the character set defined in Wordpress. There was an older version of wordpress that had this problem after being upgraded. For instance, Digitalpoint has this in the header:

    Thanks for your advice markn26. I tried with putting UTF-8 in header and wp-config.

    None of these worked.
