WP and COOP: Needs to be writable? (It IS)

  1. #1
    linkersunion.com in the footer. Both the PHP and TXT files are in the root level. CHMOD set 666. I don't know how to make the txt any more writable! :rolleyes:

    yeah... well, you need to make sure the file IS writable, are you absolutely sure?

    Yes. Absolutely. Set for 666 and the dir list shows rw- rw- rw-. I also tried 777 just to see if permisions were the problem. They aren't.

    Gee, this is weird... and are you sure that when you created the file you gave it the exact filename the coop asked for?

    It looked so simple I really don't know where I could have messed it up!

    ...though the fault probably is mine.

    Actually when you call the file, try putting in the exact location of the file - /home/username/public_html/ads_file.php

    Oops my bad. You could edit the .php file and put in the exact location of the .txt file. I have seen that help on rare occasions.
