Have updated one of my blogs to see how everything goes. Haven't seen any problems though yet with the plugins I'm using (the basic ones though). The image stuff is an excellent update, really awesome!
one small problem with me, the pemalink crash with plugin and cause error "/wp-includes/rewrite.php on line 790", just disable the plugin one by one to solve it
I have upgraded my wordpress version to 2.9 a couple of days ago, since then I started to run into problems in adding a new post, whenever I add a new post I get a post failed message. I have to create a draft from quickpress first and then edit it for a successful new post. I hope there will be a 2.9.1 sooner.
I advice everybody to not upgrade their versions of wordpress - yet. Stay with the one you are using now, since this release may have a lot of security holes and errors. Wait until the next release that will be more stable.
Running fine at my end, but its getting a conflict going on with Google XML Sitemap plugin. Rest all fine, and yeah i really liked the new inbuilt image editor feature as well.
What problem are you getting? is it a problem with the http.php file? If so there is a fix on the wordpress forums
I'm glad I've waited with upgrade of my main blogs. Have only done small ones and the bugs are way too obvious. It's a headache making new posts right now. Glad I didn't upgrade my busy blogs.
There is a problem with curl modules and header functions. They have a soon to be released 2.9.1 beta coming out. I would wait!
Problems with editor in IE8 are extremely irritating and so are the problems with tag adder which doesn't work worth poop. Seriously irritating.
The only problem I have come across is thast Adman does not work for me anymore. Well it works but the option to disable it in some posts is not working. And since the guy hasn't done anything to it in like four years I'm not holding out much hope of an update.
Hey is gives a syntax error at the top always. I am fed up and trying for latest 3.0 release so that I can jump onto it.
