WP 2.7: I can't add the 'Recent Posts' and 'Archives' widget

    I've recently upgraded wy Wordpress installation to 2.7, and changed the theme. On the 'Widgets' page the 'Recent Posts'-, 'Archives'- and 'Pages' widgets are showing in the list, but they don't have the 'Add' link next to them.

    Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Does anyone know about a plugin for WP 2.7 that allows me to have more control over the archives-widget?
