Just found a wicked keyphrase :D:D Over 2 million monthly searches (estimated), only 5 million other results and KEI of 8 million (if that means anything!). How often is it you come up with keywords like this eh :)

yes, you only have to beat those 5 millions. KEI is useless if you deal with large numbers.

Im abit wary when things seem to good to be true, the term has more overture than 'free x site' but competition is next to nothing!! Think its just lucky??

I wouldn't call 5 million SERPs next to no competition. Do variants of the keyword get searches?

Well compared to other keywords in the same niche with over 100+ million competition, it is nothing. There are varients, but only small searches.

Like in my son´s aquarium. There is one fish more aggresive than the others. I try to feed her less (means more equal) than the others.

Will the others survive and manage people feeding them?

whether 5 million is tough or not is largely determined by the top 10-20 none of the rest count.

I wouldn't try ranking with the term Microsoft even if there were only a few thousand competitors.

Before spending the time make sure you can get about the final 10.
