Good placement but bad relevancy...

 

Under your 'other history timeline' page I am seeing adoption agency ads.

I am seeing mostly history ads on the other pages which works good with the content. Altough, they are one or two ads that are coming through like ringtones and singles in palestine

I saw relevent ads when I just checked

 

EVERYTHING! Adjust the page elements untill the ads are relevent.

 

You can ban urls under Adsense ctrl panel but you risk removing an ad that could pay high, even if its unrelevent.

Keep adding your content for the media bot to suck up and serve more ads and it should be ok. If OWG see's relevant ads I wouldnt worry to much about it.

 

I tried milion designs ... did divs on top on bottom and ads are the same every time hehe so I really don't know what to do ... I guess I am happy since ctr is quite high on all designs i tried ... only on light background designs I see lower ctr....

 

Oh, I just checked on the site again and the ads are relevant now...

Anyway did you try using section targeting?

I wonder ! Can you use more than one section target tags on one paga ... for example ... on ancient timeline to use only content of roman empire, egypt and greek history ? and left ziggurat out for example

 

Hmmmm...? I'm not sure exactly what you mean in your example o) but yep, you can use as many section targeting tags as you want per page. Make sure the tags enclose enough content though as my blog says - otherwise it could decrease the relevancy of your ads instead of increasing it!!!

Anyway I better put that point in that blog post huh?

 

I bet if you remove the adlinks and just leave the 336 you could convert and make more. Those two ads, so close together, doubles the chances of your visitors seeing the "ads by google" text.

Hmm ... I really like adlink unit there ... and is targeted the best .... I will see for a week with this and then maybe go for half-banner (ads by google is below) if this positioning is no good ....

Wow ... CTR is ... improved it twice ... and people are clicking on all three ads !!
Just clicks are a little less worth ... 10c on average ... that is bad

Why is that ... i only changed box from 250x250 to 336 ? and adlink unit is on top .. .earlier was below 250box in page code ! Is that maybe the problem ?
