So I can honestly say Amazon has always just been one of those 'ya lets throw that in there just for the sake of it' type programs for me. I run a couple of sites where direct linking to products is in addition to the content, so never on main pages, back burner type of program. Needless to say I've never really paid attention to the program. So I just retrieved my password last night hoping for a miracle or atleast a surprise and boy did I get one I think its time I rethink amazon lol. [this is not a post meant to disrespect amazon as an affiliate program, its just to show that my lack of accurate promotion for its products leads to an unfortunate CPC ratio. For those making bank with amazon, good work and much respect. Now feel free to laugh as I have when I saw this.]
I don't get anywhere near that much traffic so hopefully my ads are a bit more targeted On the bright side you got a ton of clicks which shows that in the future it could be a great money maker
Maybe little off topic, but i would Like to have an answer for my question. Am I allowed to convert amazon rss to blog pages on my web? Thx for answer
Hey, it's $7 you didn't have before ;-) And, like others have said, that's a very nice number of clicks. With a bit more targetting, you could make a killing.
That's actually very cool. Now, maybe you can rethink your strategy and work to monetize it even more. Think about it... you made seven bucks without putting any effort into it. Now, if you'll only do a bit more targeting, you can potentially make a lot more, can't you?
Looks like you have a lot of accidental clicks or some very, very, very poorly targeted Amazon ads, mixed with a crap ton of traffic. What was the time frame used for the clicks?
I agree with the previous statement, you should look at your conversion rate. If you simply improve the conversion rate with your current traffic, it'll be more financially rewarding for you. Good luck, you're on your way. Happy Selling!, PuReWebDev
Why are people saying seven dollars is good for all those clicks? How many unique views did it take to get those clicks btw? I'm guessing 10k plus.
Remove Amazon's ads. They distract the visitors of your site. They might have clicked on Adsense or something else which would most certainly returned much more than $7.
I've never seen anything that bad with Amazon. Were you just redirecting traffic? And I thought seeing a conversion just below 10% sucked. LOL
