    I understand that anyone can fake, but I wouldn't see the interest in doing it. I emailed the guy back, so we'll find out soon enough.

    I know you're not trying to bash Alex. The thing is he didn't come to the site saying "I'm the VP of marketing of oDesk. Here is a link to a deal. *AFFILIATE LINK*"

    I just actually looked up the blog post name and it said that information at wikipedia.

    I actually got an email back from the guy at oDesk and yes he's the real deal. I asked him to do guest blog post because I was so impressed by the fact that he went the extra mile and would make a comment on a blog for some second rate site.
