I've been using them with great success. They have some teething problems I spoke about with them at length. They are willing to listen/help etc. and I'm glad to hear they will now have the money to dedicate the resources to it. It seemed like it was a part time deal by enthusiasts, rather than a properly staffed office.

Hopefully they spend it well, mostly on technology, the remainder on a bit of marketing.

I tried to start a campaign with either payperpost or another similar company a couple of weeks ago and they couldn't target by niche.

Its certainly a great idea and it needs one big company to take over the market and give it some credibility and get some proper bloggers on board. If the bloggers are all small time blogspot blogs they need to sell a lot of posts at $10 per time to make any cash.

Interest for niche posts (not the simple $2.50 for a link type) seems to bottom out after 20-30 posts in my experience. I've been pretty impressed with the post quality but I do pay good money for them and make sure the opp makes it damn clear what I want.

You do get plenty of idiots not reading the requirements and those not even knowing how to make a working link in HTML. I hope those will be booted from the system, it's a waste of everyone's time.

But despite the bit of extra effort due to it being new, I'm pretty pleased with it.

Judging by their blog, there's a few bloggers who earned over a grand already.

i would be lil worried about quality of posts .. because if someone posts on my behalf , i may be critisized if he/she post something that is not acceptable by community members (because he/she is endorsing my website and peoples will think i am the one who is posting).

    How would your community know?

Most PPP bloggers don't disclose (though they can and you have no control) but then they still write it themselves, just like they would had they not been paid. I don't see the problem.

Any of the PPP bloggers can write about non paid stuff as well. They could visit your site tomorrow and write a really bad review of it. At least if you pay for the post you get to tell them what to write.

Update: I just started an "opportunity" with them. Luckily they have safeguards in place otherwise my credit card would be $2400 lighter after I multiplied $24 by 100 and thought it would be $240.

Having spent $68 on 5 blog posts this seems like its going to work OK.

The problem is that my 5 blog posts were made by the first few people who saw the advert. I could find no way of choosing who made the post. Maybe a really high quality blogger might have come along later and taken up the offer.

With this system there is no incentive for me to bid higher than the minimum.
