I dont know how i got it but i guess i am much excited about this. Is it any good having a PR3 on my twitter page?? Thanks
just that it may get crawled more my old profile is a pr6 http://twitter.com/vbsetup and my new one is already a 4 http://twitter.com/BrandonSheley
Yes, Twitter gets PR very fast than regular websites. Thats why people are now redeeming twitter for business. There are many websites out to harvest the power of twitter. (remember the time few years ago, when a lot of websites were setup to harvest the power of google, myspace, youtube and many more giants at their best times )
Just check the others...... I think pr3 is just a average page rank.....most are pr3-pr4... But I will say Loco.M's pr6 page is a very high page rank...
they go through bit.ly, so there's no help for your website's PageRank. to be honest, I don't really think it's worth much because I've never searched for anything and saw a result on Twitter.
I think Pagerank on twitter is unimportant (it's nofollow). We only can get traffic from there, not backlink...
the fact that they go through bit.ly is a complete irrelevance. bit.ly links use a 301 redirect, so PR can pass. However, Twitter uses nofollow, so they can't pass PR on Twitter
Here is another thought getting followers with high pr sites themselves, would this raise you even faster?
My Twitter page is at PR3 now, but it doesn't mean that all links are useless because of no-follow, web traffic and unique visitors are still going to get your game on! It's not useless, only for traffic and unique visitors...possibly leads.
Whether the twitter link is dofollow or nofollow is of no consequence at all. What you should be aiming at is quality visitor traffic driven from your twitter profile page.
