Wow I'm on the First Page Of Yahoo For over 10 short keywords

I have never really bothered with Yahoo before 99% of my traffic comes from google but I've just built a website and I am on the first page and in position 1 for some really short keywords cheap timberland, cheap timberland boots, timberland boots, timberland hats, timberland sunglasses its crazy as I have not even put any work into the site I built it to sell but I think I may keep it with the traffic I am getting from yahoo with no effort just imagine if I put the work in lol, just for interest the site is http://www.cheap-timberland-clothes.co.uk its only 3 weeks old and its make me £47.83 crazy!!!

Congratulations on achieving the #1 position in yahoo but sometimes these
results are short lived if you have not started any seo as yet you should do so
asap to make sure you do not lose your ranking.

very well but yahoo gets very less traffic when compared to google.

nice work. I have one site that kills in the yahoo serps but gets no google traffic.... I dont know why. Thats life though

i have multiple research results of my sites that show that new quality sites with good content and lots of updates in its early stages rate really well on Yahoo and MSN, then as you are building backlinks for google as you start to climb in rankings in google you seem to fall in Y and MSN. Its not until you have lots of links do you start coming back in Y and MSN, by this time you should have been doing well in google!

 

yahoo is a real enigma. I find that my article site which gets updated daily does really well on yahoo on a daily basis, but it does not do so well on google. It used to be that yahoo was more brute force seo friendly, so may be the fact that yahoo is not as picky as google has something to do with it.
