So I login, type in a couple keywords to check my ads placement... I see a brand new competitor out there that copied my ad verbatim... only his price he undercut me by $5.. i sell a product for 15 bucks, hes advertising for 10!

So I login to his website... it looks different, but his content is word for word my pages content. down to testimonials and everything!

I did a whois on his website and it was registered 2 friggin days ago.

Needless to say, I have made a lot less sales with his advertisement sitting right below mine advertising 5$ cheaper.

I'm so ticked. I sent the guy a nasty email as I was so ticked off, but I dont know if that will do anything.

I could file a DMCA, but that wouldnt prevent him from running adwords.

Filing a DMCA would get his site shut down, therefore preventing him from driving adwords traffic to it.

I doubt the nasty email would do anything, if the person is prepared to do that they wouldn't care of upsetting anyone.

I can understand your annoyance though.

the worst part is I can see when people are ripping off my site.

I have a tracking code on my site.

And a lot of times they download my site pages directly to their computer, and when I have my support tool running i can see referrers that say

    c://soandsoscomputer/desktop/nich-to-ripoff/mysite.html

So I usually send them a message from my support tool saying "thanks for ripping off my site douchebag"

Really pisses me off, happens everyday, and the market is becoming more and more flooded with people ripping off my content and then promoting their own site using my content, and product.

Instead of just swearing at them why don't you actually solve the problem by sending a DMCA?
