Lately Adsense has been pure trash for me. Up until mid January, my sites were reliably making $1.25-$2.50 a day. Ever since late January, I can't scratch through about $0.60 a day But even then, it's never been this bad: Sigh Not shown in the picture: One ad unit comprised of 15 of the clicks, and made a whopping 5 cents!! FIFTEEN CLICKS, FIVE CENTS?!?!
That's my only guess too but this isn't the first time I've seen horrible days like this. It's never been THAT bad, but I've had days with sub 1 cent clicks across the board..
my earnings have been down for the last few days aswell. I think it was because of my recent add of widgetbucks and PPP. I removed both of them so hopefully i see better adsense results.
clicks are not counted for invalid clicks and CPM ads. I got 1 cent for 3 clicks and clicks was on link unit so CPM ads clicks counting is impossible.
could be cpm ads showing on your site. Use crazy egg to determine which ads are getting clicks, if MFA then ban those sites. Also, do you have terms of service, privacy policy and contact us links on your site? (smart pricing)
It can't be CPM's because the clicks all came from link units... My CTR isn't normally that high BTW... that was a better than usual day for that. Really low traffic though, usually more like 800-1200. Odd day.
I had the same thing happening at the beginning of the month and changed the content a little to get some better adds and was back up to $1-$2 a day. The site just went back to around $.30-$0.60 I'm going to try using the competitive add filter.
I don't think so. You need to target the correct and high paying keywords. Some of my sites are earning about 50 cents per click but some of them are earning about 2 cents with 10 clicks.
in january, some of my clicks were over $1. I think its your niche. also, you might want to see if people are clicking the 3 ad unit on the page. in adsense, the higest paying ad is listed at the top. if your page structure is such that people don't click it, you should definitely remove it.
He said that , he would make 1-2 $ a day with only 400-1000 views so it can't be his niche, unless he changed some content. Check for The best Keywords www.keywordsdatabase.com
This is a little off topic, but thanks for the link man! I will definitely be putting it to work in the future . Anyway, it has to be your keywords that aren't performing anymore. It sucks, but what used to work may not always work. So, unless you are updating your content regularly...then you just need to adjust to the change. If you already update with fresh content then it's time for a niche change.
