    This may sound dumb but what is a proxy?

    I remember years ago when I was doing autosurfs one wouldnt accept me because they said my IP was proxy and I still dont know what it meant. :confused:

    Proxy means that you are using a third party to do something. For internet, it means that a 3rd party (server) will request the webpage on your behalf and transfer the requested page back to you. Use of proxy is to bypast firewall, hide your ip and etc.

    I meant this software caches pages in its memory and loads them if page is not updated.
