I am new to article marketing and SEO. I have had a mentor showing me how things work and I am learning so much. I just wanted to share the wealth... I had NO IDEA what I was doing. I thought I was good because I had the SEO Plugin on my WordPress Blog. I see the experts laughing at me... I now realize there is much more to it. Backlinks, Sitemaps, and Fresh Content. I started off trying to use JetSubmitter but that was not easy to learn. I got it, but it took me forever. I was then shown a new piece of software called Bloggers Paradise and it simplified things SO MUCH! Made my life easier. It has built in Thesaurus, Automatically Generates 3 Variations, and It posts to the blogs using sticky. The GREAT thing is it helps you post to multiple blogs with ease. In my training I have learned... KeyWords <---Very Important You must KNOW WHERE to place them and also know how to place them contextually. If you use a KEYWORD...make it a backlink...TO YOUR SITE...(The One You Are Trying To Get Ranked) BE CAREFUL TO MUCH IS NEVER GOOD!!! You want to stay OUT OF THE SANDBOX! SEMRush and Google AdWords Tool are the two things I am utilizing for my keyword research. This is VERY IMPORTANT TO DO. Do your research!!! Why target hard to RANK keywords when you can go for the LOW HANGING FRUIT. The KeyWords that are less popular but still have a good amount of traffic. Don't get me wrong. You should still target the harder to get ones, but until you have the extensive network of backlinks established KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid ). The .05 AdWords are a good place to start. Make sure you research your competition. Find out what they do. Then DO IT BETTER!!! If you are up against a giant like WIKI, PICK DIFFERENT KEY WORD(s)!!! Unique Content <---Although its important to have a HIGH PERCENTAGE of unique content, you can utilize public domain articles and spin them with lots of variations and YOU WILL BE FINE. REMEMBER: If you are blogging and article marketing for SEO your focus is on ranking on Front Page on the Search Engines!!! Use One Way Backlinks In A Blircle (A Circle of Blogs That are RELATIONAL in content that focus on the center site, which is your capture page, business, etc). Something that may not be familar to some, at least I wasn't. I was in the mindset that two way links were good. I have learned 1 way back links work well. Ensure that you are LINKING your Blircle with blogs on different IPs and Hosts. This ensures that you get the best results. Article Marketing is not so much about the CONTENT as far as getting readers. The point of it is BACKLINKS AND KEYWORDS strategically placed is to RANK FRONT PAGE ON SEARCH ENGINES. Traffic Traffic Traffic I know to some this may be repetition and seem very basic. I just wanted to write this for those that are still learning (Like Me).
