with adsense i get the same impressions but atleast 100-200 clicks.

what in the world is the problem? also, yahoo is paying insanly high amounts of money for each click. i make almost $5 off those three clicks. but im definietly switching back to adsense.

Are the ads relavent? I tried YPN for a while and gave up a couple hundred bucks from Adsense to gain a couple dozen bucks from YPN. Their ads were too general for my niches in business and technology.

I will keep an eye on them in the forum to see if their is improvement in relevancy and CTR.

that's a pretty high ctr with adsense. I would stay with that. I notice the same with yahoo...CTR is really whack with yahoo. The ads are targetted that's why. Or it hasn't been on my sites yet...and it's been like a month.

On my a fansite I have I kept getting ads for gay cruizes, gay real estate and Vonage. Once I filtered them I now only get 1 ad for a credit card company.

I do have a few sites that track well with it, seems to be hit of miss.

Yeah, I have experienced similar poor results as compared to Adsense. They just don't seem to have their targeting algorithms right yet.

Yeah they don't serve very relevant ads which cause a poor CTR... however, I've noticed that there payout rate is much higher. Seen as high as $8 clicks for on same pages i was getting $.25 from Adsense... you really have to pick and choose the site you want to use YPN on cause it works well on some and terrible on others.

CTR is related to ad quality. Yahoo is still getting their act together but the last two days have been much better than the last two weeks so I am starting to feel that Yahoo is getting their act together. At least with my site.

I also experienced similar results. I was only getting 5-15 clicks/day with Y!PN while I was getting 100-200 clicks with AdSense. Revenue was 2x as much through Y!PN, but the ads weren't what my visitors were looking for. I ended up switching back to AdSense so my visitors liked looking at the ads rather than being a bother to them.

I called YPN the other day after two weeks of non-related ads on one of my sites. They told me that their cache of advertisers is still low, and since there were no ads to serve (even with the ad targeting on), they were serving me the RON ads.

I switched back to AS for now.

just in case you are new to this, remember that google defaults to displaying stats by pages, while ypn calcs their stats by ad blocks... so be sure and compare apples to apples.

I ran my little test and rotated the G and Y! ads and found that the ctr is lower on Y! but the payout is better... I made enough in my G account in a day to take them out and get my last check from them..:p Y! is here to stay with me, even though CTR is lower but money is better:D To tell you honestly we made 2 - 2 1/2 times more on Y! than G on our test...

I can beat that, I had 34K+ impressions in a single day with 17 clicks per YPN with targeted ads with good placement. Luckily the keywords paid pretty decent but my CTR was 0.0
