Google have recently updated the pagerank, this is their quarterly update.....and my forum "The Webmaster's Forum" have got a PR3. My forum has been live since first week of June and I am happy to know that I've acheived a PR3 within just 2 months But at the same time there has been a decrease in two of my blog's PR,from PR4 and PR3 they are now PR3 and PR2 . Can you tell me what factors are usually responsible for a decrease in PR?
Not putting down your efforts, but PR 3 isn't that hard to get. I had a site that got PR 4 in less than 2 months back in the winter/spring update. A blog that I started putting SEO efforts to back in early June got PR 3 recently from 0. I seen the PR drop down a notch on some of my sites too. I really believe it's because Google is de-indexing many internal pages in directories, so links you have submitted to past directories are lost.
This update, 2 of my sites went from PR N/A to PR4. The secret, content, content, content and strong links from quality, relevant sites. No paid links, no link exchanges, just a lot of work and a lot of reading to learn what to do. It's paid off this time, now my goal is to get more quality links, with more quality content.
Happened to me. I went, in 2 months, to a PR3, but now, from the recently update I dropped to an anticipated PR2.
true, same happened with me my two blogs went up. One from N/A to 4 and other one from 0 to 4. It's all contents and active participation in related niche.
If you really have very well contents, you really deserve that PR. Don't slow down, just continue improving so you won't lose that PR.
For example. I have very2 high quality in my blog.so,how can we got link from content without buy link or link exchange?
My websites get more PR but many of my blogs got a PR decreased. Digitalpointing lost its PR completely. darn.. heheh..
great, pr4 in less than 2 months. What seo methods did you try? I just tried the top commentator method nothing else
Congrats man for your achievement. I also got PR3 for my blog from PR0. My blog get traffic from All 3 search engines .
