I've tried it for a week, some clicks but no conversions at all so I removed it!

Just checked my account and its active now - although I didn't get contacted to tell me so.

I'm giving it a shot - the ads look OK in my niche - let's see how it goes.

It is bit hard to get conversions unless the ad is too attractive for the user.

Yes, the ads were extremely targeted considering my niches, but still visitors didn't like them.

They may like them, but not enough to pay money for them! a different story than normal ads where all they have to do is to click!

Is it still 3 ad units, +' 1 link unit + 1 referral unit allowed ?

I just saw this on my account ( after reading this thread ), havent got idea that they changed anything in referral, cause I havent used referral before.

I've got it too, although all my niches have very low ratings for commissions, so I'm going for a firefox referral.
Good news is, I've already got 2! :)

Why doesn't anybody call this what it is The Google Affiliate Network?

I guess its contextually allocated on the fly, which I don't know if any other network does.

Still, I like CPC, that affiliated stuff was so sporadic for me, mostly nothing, never continuous like CPC.

Maybe its just my keywords and audience, but i am getting conversions.

I suspect it wont work for a lot of people as there is not that many advertisers, but i will grow in a very short time.

At firsts i had like 10 companies showing ads on my site for 1 keyword entered...but google quickly showed the converting ads more often and i rarely even see the pooly converting ones now.

Also, as more advertisers join under a certain keyword they are added automaticly to your list and compete with the others.

maybe its my sites, maybe its my keywords...but its working for me.

I took three categories, Computers & Electronics, Telecommunications , and Games.
Rest all depends on type of traffic you get to have conversions I guess.
