Sorry to hear that. Hope your tactics work. Here's suggestion from me (probably why you posted here): First suggestion is to replace the two uppermost ad units with a single larger one. These 2 units don't fit incredibly well and having 2 units means you've got double the amount of horrible black 'Ads by Google' text.
Place your ads inside content. Place at least your link ads inside body ( below your title), CTR will improve. It is my personal experience. It will distract will users, but where they come from? search engines? If they are from search engines then you will have great CTR...
they come from SE's stumble and digg, sites like that.. I did have the ad's in with the article's on the main page and on the main article page there are ad's i think a new layout is needed
Why don't you have ads in the content. i am sure that will increase the CTR. Also, Having ads under 'related links' is against TOS. I dont think you are allowed put a title that draws attention to the ads in anyway, Surely, having 'related ad' gives the assumption that they are links to the site rather than ads.
