    A point well taken. Of course, sometimes longer articles do work well online. The length is not necessarily as important as the readability and formatting. Short sentences and paragraphs, bulleted lists, subheadings and even internal bookmarks can make an article flow more eloquently.

    I'll admit even I, a reading teacher, have a hard time getting through anything that has more than three to four sentences in a paragraph and no visual breaks to the text. On the flip side, I've read entire ebooks online easily due to well planned formatting.

    This also doesn't even take into account the SEO length debate that I choose to ignore for the most part. A quality, well-written article will bring readers back. The trick is making it easy for visitors to read. :)
