Hmmm, that's interesting. Although I don't think that channels should affect how much you earn, right? Do you think it could have been a coincidence?? There have been some threads here about members who have noticed a drop around the end of the month and then earnings pick up again at the start of a new month. Do you think this could have been the case with your sites?
I have no idea....I assume I stuffed up somehow when adding the channels, I think some sites were working and some not although everything looked okay. The only thing I didn't do was click on my ads to check, I didn't want to run the risk of being thrown out. I left it for three days to see if the rate would pick up but it didn't so I removed the channels. This is the strange part, after I removed the channels, each day the numbers grew, and they grew at a similar rate each day, very measured, it took seven days and I am back to normal. Yes it is probably all coincidence but where Google is concerned....you never know Spooky music goes here.
anusha, you gotta level with us here. Are you "sticking to" or beeing stuck with half a dollar clicks I was just wondering if you had decided not to make a lot of money or if there is some othe dark hidden secret here that no one picked up on?
I have a credit card and payday loan page and it only average 40 cents a click or so, so creditcards and loans etc dont make a lot, or do they ? On my page they dont, I wonder if one needs a lot of traffic, or if the rates vary from site to site, even for the same keywords etc ?
My earnings were going down since Adesnse crash 2 days back. I decided to put "Image" only ads in few sites and the results are encouraging!
Stop cheating people!!! Don't pretend to be a professional.. I just caught my best cathc on recent high paying keyword scam... Please read the last page of the following thread... http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=12663 Do send your comments...
I get the odd click in the range of $3 -> $5. I also get clicks at $0.05. Most are between $0.25 -> $1 Do the big numbers really exist - yes, I've got no doubt that they do. As my sites get higher up the SERPs, I get better prices per click. If I was targetting a keyword which had ads that cost big $'s to get #1 ad then I'm certain if I was at #1 then I'd see some big numbers per click. Does anyone know really what some of the top paying keywords are - I know we can guess, so does anyone know anyone who has top 10 results for that keyword ? As far as G is concerned, the top 10 'should' be the best results - note I said should. It stands to reason that G is going to place the top ads on the top results. So we need to be asking this question to the guys with the top 10 results. Do we know any ?? possibly for some results, but for things like meso I doubt it.
I got a $4.50 click this morning, that was my first one that big. I just wish I could get about 100 or so of those day
People are concentrating on the wrong thing. I have sites that earn 50c per click which out perform sites which earn $1 per click. Why ---- TRAFFIC Many of my sites serve a purpose. Let's take for example the site in my Sig (my cricket club). It earns on average 80c per click - yes I found that quite amazing as well. But it doesn't get more than 1 or 2 clicks per day - I'm still working on that. The thing is, it is a pretty niche market. Not many people search online for anything to do with cricket . Those of us that play the game know where to find the cricket results etc etc. People odn't surf around and think oh lets take a look at cricket sites. What I'm saying is..... What you get per click is almost completely irrelevant -- assuming that you're not running a built for adsense site ,which none of us would of course The only thing that matters - as far as adsense goes - is your SERPs. I can't prove this (yet) but I am a firm believer in it. G isn't stupid, advertisers want their ads on the top results (that's where normal users go to) as most users don't even know there are results passed page 1,2, or 3. So that's where G will put the top paying ads. If you happen to build a site in a high paying keyphrase, and you work hard to get up the SERPs - perhaps hard is the wrong word, 'be persitant in what you do' would be better - then you will get on the first page and you will get the big clicks. The fun is going to come when the likes of MSN join this parade - and they will oneday. Yahoo, hmm yep their OK but they won't topple G. MSN on the other hand does have the capital available to achieve just about anything they want - they just need a push in the right direction. There are those that will tell you that per click ad revenue is going to continue to drop, and they're right while there is only one real ad provider. Bring three into the mix and then watch the payments rise - but your going to have to juggle who's ads you show, on what days and at what times. Start learning to script - pure html cannot and will not be enough in the coming months/years.
I'm guessing if you had one specific page as a channel and it only got 1 click you would know how much it was worth...
Is there any predictibility to your adssnse? For example, on my site, the clicks vary, the $ amount per click varies day by day but ON AVERAGE, I can count on earning $0.01 per visitor.
I did check it out. What´s this Blah Brain... Help a guy out and Visit the sites, check out the ads a little maybe? Wink You know that´s against AS TOS, don´t you?
