bloody hell! That is rather high. With my gaming website I usually get around 3 minutes on average. For the forums its different but the code hasn't been installed for that yet!
It is right? I have plenty of other sites also tracked with analytics and not one reaches that... Some of the forums i own reach 7,8,9 but that's the highest... now i see 15 with this site yea I can imagine that would be short for those... its actually a blog!
very nice! One of my websites has a time of only 1 minute. I tend to get a lot of traffic of people who come to the site thinking it may be something else (that's my best guess based on keywords entered). But I notice occasionally there are chucks of visits with 3+ minutes (one of them being 18m). But I digress, good job! lol
i just check my stat, average time on site is about 4 minutes, 15 mins is that mean you blog post are very long winded?
That is really excellent. Mine is only 1 min and a half on average. But my earnings are pretty good though.
It must be a great niche site. That is the only reason I see why they stay so long on your site: it must have a lot of articles on the same topic and your vistors love to read them.
my arcade is 3 minutes overall average, but my direct traffic is 10 minutes. if some people are interested in the site...,but yeah,i can see why the OP is shocked at 15 minutes on a blog.
Average time is something which you should take with a pinch of salt As everyday i find some visitor staying on my site on the same page for more than 30 minutes and that kicks up the average time, those are visitors who open the browser and your page and then moves on to another tab or browser and forget about your site, your site just sits open in his browser and that kicks up the time stayed on the site, because the fact being it takes hardly 3 minutes to read a 500 word page, how can someone just stay on for 30 minutes
