Yes, they do sell if you market them right, but they usually have information that is freely available - but then again, what eBook doesn't, lol?
I own a pretty popular gaming site and I've never had any luck with them on converting. Most of the gamer crowd is fairly well-educated on these topics but will buy if properly motivated.
It's not that high. For WarcraftWealth.com the refund rate for the last 30 days is 2.7%. I'd say the gaming markets are a bit different. Most of the prospects are really "experts" when it comes to the product. And some marketers don't really have a good knowledge of the game... I'd say that in order to market for WoW, you need to spend at least 200 hours to play the game.
