Wow. Am I being click bombed or does Adsense sometimes go haywire?

I meant register a seperate forum account, not adsense. I only have one account here and most others.

Google can retroactively debit invalid clicks from your account. This happened to me in July and August when some zombies were attacking my site. (First clue that something was wrong was a 70% CTR when I checked my stats that first morning. That's not normal for my sites.) So you'll still see the clicks and the earnings, but when the payment is prepared there'll be a deduction for invalid clicks.

It's important to keep Google informed if you suspect click fraud. I sent them copies of my logs and turned off ads on the pages that were being attacked while things were being sorted out. They put in some better filtering to handle it, and shortly thereafter the fraudsters moved on. But very annoying for the publisher. You see those big earnings but you know they're not real and you're not sure by how much you're off until the end of the month...

Sometimes the replies took a few days. That can be frustrating when you've had to turn off ads from pages in order to stop the attacks, but what can you do?

aeiouy, Do you remember when we both reported a massive click bombing to Google last month?
I finally got a reply from them entitled.. "Google AdSense Account Disabled"
They said that it had come to their attention that invalid clicks had been made. I told them to read again my messages to them re the click bombing on my site and others but I'm not holding my breath for a reply.
Has anyone ever been re-instated after mistakenly being disabled by a Google lacky who is unaware of previous communications with the company?

I did. I exchanged several e-mails with them about it. I had lots of information and gave them everything I had.

I think they don't always have time to reply.. and if it is on the same issue, they probably don't have time to respond to everyone. I think they were able to connect the dots pretty quickly here.

I finally got a reply about a week after E-mailing them. It looked like they didn't change the earnings, just stoped generating more earnings after X number of clicks.

Well. I am now getting PSA's where I haven't got rid of adsense code so I guess they don't want to listen to me.
Oh well, it's being replaced with chitika and yahoo now. I don't expect any more replies from Google since I wasn't earning very much for them any way.

I'm just one of the little guys they can just kick out on a whim.

It was fun guys. Thanks for all the adsense tips which I can now use for yahoo ;)
Best of luck for the future.

I just got 30 clicks in 1-2 hours on a channel which only got 10 impressions impressions for that period. My sites are fairly new so the amount of traffic is low but income from adsense is pretty good. I would hate to be penalized for something I didn't do ... On top of that awstats and webalizer didn't update so I only have access to the raw logs for now. How do you know which ip is causing this? I had my sites listed here but it could be anyone... yesterday I got number 1 in msn for a nice phrase I guess I must have pissed someone off. I emailed Google ... miserable day. They should have a system that ignores these clicks instead of just disabling accounts.

I was a victim of that too. I mean of clickbomb. I'm just lucky enough and I noticed it immediately and reported to Google with site stats copy. They replied and confirmed it.

So is this another confirmed case of being banned after reporting?
