That's right, the best news I ever had for myself is that now I can track AdSense earning in Analytics and can adjust/improve my site. How about you? What do you think about this? For anyone still doesn't know about this, then here is a good start: Google AdSense Tracking Integrated in Analytics
This whole situation actually has me confused. Maybe i did something wrong - maybe you can tell me what i'm missing. To start with, i set up 10 different web sites - i added the individual analytics code to each site... ....then i set up adwords campaigns for each site. Now when i go to my analytics - none of the sites are there... i liked using analytics the way it was. I recently just 'UNlinked' all accounts hoping to use analytics the way i am used to, but i still can't find my sites. I'm sure i'm missing something... but i don't know what that is. Any tips? Thanks.
This is actually the first I've heard of this. I'm going to have to check it out. If anyone has it (or if there is one at all) post an article or a link.
I think it's still in invite only phase and is not a public feature yet. I have it. But doesn't seem to catch clicks very well.
The feature to link Adsense to Analytics is rolled out through the network over time. The additional code that is required has to be added at the TOP of every page after the <body> tag and NOT replace your analytics code at the bottom. One site can be associated with adsense tracking without adding additional code, the rest needs the additional code. It is a very cool feature. It shows which content generates the clicks and much more.
question; if you have multiple sites does it show you all the data at once or do you have to go into data specific for one site or page at a time? I'm hoping theres a quick view method that shows everything combined so I can easily see which site is performing the best out of everything.
It shows you the data on a site by site basis. I tried integrating it with a profile that includes other profiles (2 analytics codes per page) but it really didn't track well or much of anything.
My Adsense an Analytics are now fully integrated (for almost a month now), and I am seeing very interesting data not before available, like earnings per page, and by keyword, and referral. Great improvement!
it's a brilliant imrovement, I can now see the exact pages the earnings are coming from, and a whole host of other bits of data. I've already made changes to my sites accordingly
