Hi everybody, I've set up this new service, producing original video content for websites. Could you take a look at the site and give me your comments. I'm particularly interested in whether you think you would use such a service. It's Mr Video Editor
i myself wouldn't use this service because i have experience on video editing.. but those who don't know have a site to go to..good work i would change the layout i seen it on other site.
I think it's a great idea, just make sure some of the video you use is legal and not copyrighted etc.
I'm very careful about that. I only use either paid-for, royalty-free, stock footage and music or that has been signed off with a 'creative commons' licence.
Personally I don't like the layout of the site, the content on the left looks good, but the content on the right just looks a mess. I like the way you've changed the look of the YouTube player, however I would recommend not using YouTube unless you use their High Quality option. I work in the video streaming industry and for me quality is everything, and youtube just doesn't do quality very well, I almost scream when people go to the trouble of creating a good video then spoil it with YouTube. I love this as an example http://www.bitsontherun.com/video-example/ (Not the company I work for but still a great example) Your creating I would hope quality video, so why not showcase it in its best light. Also you mention its free advertising, backlinks etc etc, but you dont seem to offer the services to distribute the videos to make the most of them. Whitelabling something like Tube Mogul or Hey!Spread would give you a nice value add. Jen
The content is good but I do not like the design I think the site would look better if you got a more unique template.
