Would you use compatible ink cartridges or ink refills for your office?

I'm asking this because genuine ink cartridges and toners are becoming more pricey over the years - to the detriment of SMEs with limited operational budget. If you can have it your way, would you consider alternative printer cartridges or ink refills to save up on costs?

 

Yes absolutely I would (and have).

 

I use compatible cartridges and I haven't had any problems with them. Although I think that in the case of color the compatible inks aren't as vibrant as the OEM inks.

I did try refilling cartridges on my own for a while but I made some real messes with that effort. I can't really recommend doing that.

 

I use the store brand Office Max cartridges and they work like a charm for me. I have 3 kids who are homeschooled so we go through a lot of ink and the Office Max ones save us a fortune.
