Hey all. Look here: http://blog.computer-service-mallor...icLine-Navigation-with-News-Ticker/index.html I have modified the MagicLine jQuery script some time ago. Tell me what you think about the navigation. The invoco. website/service does not exist anymore.
It looks nice but I didn't almost find any navigation at first. Not good to hide the menu in my opinion.
It's good. But, you can stop the animation effect (up & down effect) when the menu is closed or re-opened.
I really like this kind of navigation, really unique. One suggestion is that if I hide the menu, the link to show the menu again is really hidden, try making it more visible so it's easier for someone to put the menu back on should they need it.
it looks great, but the main navigation is just that - the main navigation - so i can't think of an instance where i would want to 'hide' it
Way too busy in my opinion. Sometimes less is more. The bouncing is really distracting, especially when it returns all the way to the left side. A subtle color fade underneath might look nice, but not be so annoying.
Great smooth animation effect. Yes, initially wasn't easy to locate the button to open up the navigation. Not really sure if the animation effects add any benefit to the website.
This menu was a coding example. I wanted to use it on a VoIP site, but that company/site/service went down. I have a plan for this menu, but this will get modified some more. EDITED: I love to play with jQuery and jQuery plugins, just for fun!
Looks nice and works well in FF, Chrome and Safari. It even nearly works perfectly in IE6. Just the "Show Menu" button is behind the logo (invoco_logo_complete.png logo should be behind the button) In Opera the "home" red takes up the whole line.
The navigation is a great eye catcher. I like it and think it works perfect for you site in the state it is now. Maybe have an effect when clicking on a link or something.
it looks fine, but not easy to navigate and delay with shadow following disturbs while you are navigating with your mouse.
