Would you tell a friend?

After being an affiliate for over 12 months and it being my sole source of income, I have spent a long time practicing the art. This has meant many months of work, SEO and backlink building, which have had to been learnt along the way.

Sometimes, weeks have gone by with no earnings but I have pushed myself to keep going and rectified mistakes and shortcomings.

Now one of my friends has noticed I have a bit more money and he is keen to get in on affiliate marketing. The problem is he wants me to hold his hand and teach him how to do it.

The question is, would you tell him all the ins and outs of how to be sucessful, or merley point him in the direction of good forums and tutorials?

Bearing in mind this guy has earned over 40k a year while Ive struggled and had to learn it all the hard way?

    Why should hold hand?
Tell him the primary ideas and tell him he can

I have had similar experience in my life, but at some point I kind of broke up the friendship and I realized I have made a blunder. It is kind of tricky, and I understand what must be going through your mind. But I'd say, don't see him as your competition, you be a mentor and make a successful person and it is such a good feeling, trust me. You might gain so much than you ever know actually.

With that being said, I feel friendship is more valuable than success in a business, and it will never hurt to help someone. If that someone is your best buddy, there can be nothing like that. :) Success to both of you.

I will tell my friend the secret of my success if he/she is not my direct competitor in business. And I will dothis only after I've achieved my own success.
