Would you still worship God if there was no personal gain or loss out of it?

Would you still worship a God and your religion if there was nothing to gain out of it for example there was a God but he, she or it didn't offer any personal loss or gain if you did/didn't worship him, her or it?

 

It seems like our friends on the other side of the aisle have not considered this question...

 

I have notice how this question is being avoided.

 

if this God don't offer anything, then he's not god at all.

 

Why do you think he has to offer you something, think your special or something? That's also like saying it's his right to offer me something and if he dosn't then I don't wanna know him.

 

why would you think one will just be a god if he can't do anything?

 

Doing and offering you something are two totally different things. Just because he dosn't care about you dosn't mean he's powerless, he just dosn't think that humans are anything special and are pretty stupid for thinking they are.

 

well, humans mihght not just treat him as god as well. who cares about that god that can't do at all.

There is no worshiping to reach the Outerworld, abandoning ones self for their spirit requires no God only the principles that the Supreme God requires in seeking the everlasting. If you do not like the principles try and change them as Satin who is dead, just give it a go.

 

Religion is all about living your life. No matter what religion you believe.

 

That's actually the opposite of what most religions believe. Most religions teach that this life is meaningless and worthless and only the promised next life is important.

I wish I were able to put it so simply.

 

If we knew for certain that there was a god, I still wouldn't worship him, because he would happen to be the biggest failure of a deity conceivable - allowing birth defects, disasters and the rest. I'd ask for a new one
