Ummm, I never want others money if i have mine. It depends on the situation at that time. If i'm broke and really need money, i might keep it. But normally, i will return to the owner. It's not good to be with guilty feeling, that amount of money can't turn you to be a rich person. What's more, easy come easy go. You get money easily you will lose them easily too.
Of course. That's not mine to begin with. I dunno whether it is supersitious to believe this, if you take $10 that you found and you keep it, you will lose $100. Imagine taking $10 000! It's stupid to believe but it always hit me back!
i will keep all amounts of money. my goal is harder than others. i want to be in the top 10 richest peopple in the world. i need it all.
If it's a check I would return it. If it's cash I would only keep it if no one claims it in 7 days. I mean if it's really important to the person, I'm sure they would report it to the police. I would look out in the news and local police stations to see if anymore reports it. If it happens to be alot of money, I would bury or hide half of it and give the other half to charity.
probably id return the money, depends a LOT on the person situation, but 99% change to return if i new the owner. if a just found it on the street...hehehe
If you saw someone drop it you should give it back. Its not like you don't know the owner. Most of you say you will return it. What happens if you find it in the street, who are you going to return it to. The postman?
if i find a fiver il keep it. But if it was much more, id hand it in to a bank or something. Mind, i would have the urge to keep lol
There were a couple of cases here, where a valuable piece of jewelry (worth over $10,000) was found and turned in. The most memorable one, was where a sanitation worker found and turned in a diamond ring that was appraised at over $26,000. When no one claimed the ring, it became the property of the city. A local jewelry store offered to display it and auction it off. The winning bid was about $22,000, I think. http://www.ocregister.com/ocregister/news/atoz/article_726106.php And the worker who found it gets 15% of the final price!
id return the check cus the person who wrote it out could find you as it will appear on their statement, and get the police involved for stealing.
i would definitely have to say that it depends on the amount as well as how my money situation is hahaha i mean if i found $100, you cant really do much with $100 these days, but if i found $10,000!?!?! i can turn that amount into a lot more $$$$. but also you have to think about Karma. is it bad karma to now return the money to the rightful owner? or is it considered good karma coming your way since you found the money? id have to ponder this question for a bit if it actually happened to me...haha
er, forget da money!!! Any one figure out yet how you wake up in a yard with your shoes and socks on, but with out your pants!!!! Ouch!!! Your mommy has been 0wned!!!
It really depends on the situation....I would keep it. How do I know the person I turn it into isnt going to keep it? How do I know the person that lost the 10k wasnt going to use it to pay off a hitman? Maybe he is using it to buy child labor? I may in fact be helping more than just myself.... But if I saw the person drop it I would def return it to them. I once returned $500 to a guy that was comin outta the bank and he put it with his wallet and stuck it in the back pocket and his wallet went in the pocket and money slipped out. I grabbed it and ran it over to him, he was just gonna drive off. There could be other reasons I return it but they all depend.... Oh and for a hobby I metal detect and I have found numerous class rings and I returned them all. I also found a couple masonic rings, but one I couldnt return cause the guy was dead and had no family....he died like 30 years ago....
